WE’RE BACK!
Summer means movie season—and this year it also means the second season of “Reel Faith” on NET NY, available in the New York area on cable (channel 97 Time Warner, channel 30 Cablevision) and streaming on the Internet everywhere at NetNY.net.
The season premiere airs tonight, Friday, June 3 at 8:30pm Eastern, and will be archived at the “Reel Faith” website afterwards, so if you miss the live webcast you can catch the show at NET’s homepage you can still catch up with it next week.
Every week on “Reel Faith” David DiCerto and I bring you movie clips and discussion about opening and recent movies. This week we discuss four movies—X-Men: First Class, Kung Fu Panda 2, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Thor—as well as a Vatican film list pick with Fr. Robert Lauder.
Coming back to the show after several months off was fun, though not without some bumps. In the interim we’ve been recording 30-second video reviews, which I’ve had a blast scripting in rhyming verse, but of course that’s not the same as the kind of back-and-forth that makes up the show.
David and I learned a lot about doing television in our first season last year, and hopefully this year we’ll take “Reel Faith” to the next level. Let us know how we’re doing—and let NET know, too.
