Pope Francis' Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation to Be Released April 8

Pope Francis much anticipated post-synodal apostolic exhortation on the Synod on the Family will be published on April 8, the Vatican announced today.

In a statement, the Vatican said the document, which will be entitled “Amoris Laetitia” — the Joy of Love, will be presented at a Holy See press conference attended by Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, general secretary of the Synod of Bishops, and Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, archbishop of Vienna.

Also present will be married couple Professor Francesco Miano, lecturer in moral philosophy at the University of Rome at Tor Vergata, and Professor Giuseppina De Simone in Miano, lecturer in philosophy at the Theological Faculty of Southern Italy in Naples.

The press conference will take place at 11.30 a.m. in the Aula Giovanni Paolo II of the Holy See Press Office and a simultaneous translation service will be provided in Italian, English and Spanish. Viewers will be able to watch the press conference via live streaming here.

The Vatican said the text of the apostolic exhortation will be available in Italian, French, English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
