Actor Denzel Washington delivered a beautiful speech to a group of young actors on the importance of prayer, faith and the importance of goals.
“I pray that you all put your shoes way under the bed at night so that you gotta get on your knees in the morning to find them,” he said. “And while you’re down there thank God for grace and mercy and understanding. We all fall short of the glory, we all got plenty.”
It's a short video but incredibly powerful.
While watching it, I couldn't help but think about how sad it is how shocking it is to hear someone speak like that in public.
