Its timing in the midst of the recent scandals, calls for the Pope’s arrest and more all add fuel to Satan’s fire, but - and this is a big but - only if we let it!

I am content trusting the Pope and all that has been said in this regard - and in so many others - such as the world-wide priestly scandal, the issues surrounding the Legion and more.  I trust our Church and Christ’s Vicar on earth - the Pope.

Okay, so call me clueless, but if the secret was revealed in 2000, what was it??

People can speculate endlessly or just look around, read a newspaper or turn on the tv or internet. The world is falling apart rapidly as it has turned away from God. Instead of worrying about the “fourth secret” I suppose people could just pick up a copy of Desmond Birch’s masterpiece “Trial, Tribulation, and Triumph, Before, During, and after Anti Christ. This is the premier Church approved book on Catholic Eschatology. Show me another work that actually lists European battle maps for the (future!) Great Catholic Monarch. Look at Greece today folks..it’s just around the corner. Repent as the angel said.

I believe it has to do with the concecration of Russia, which Pope John Paul 2 already did (the problem some people said it didn’t include Russia because he didn’t “say” Russia.

I suppose Pope Benedict can do another concetration-if only to shut people up, saying something to the effect of “which includes Russia, and all other countries that were part of the USSR”.

I will gladly “shut up” if the Holy Father consecrates Russia to Our Lady. Pope John Paul II knew that he consecrated the world, and not Russia in 1984. I think we will all agree that the Mother of God knows the difference between a country, and a planet. She asked for a specific country. Even a pre-schooler could have this explained to them and they would aunderstand, I’m not sure why self-proclaimed educated adults cant.

Since it isn’t essential to the faith, there isn’t any point getting worked up about it. What we should worry about is whether we live holy lives, love God and neighbor, perform spiritual and corporal acts of mercy, and so forth. God performed a wonderful act at Fatima in order to honor the Virgin; He did not reveal any new dogmas, so there cannot be anything hidden that would be important for our salvation. So if our faith is in God, who has glorified the holy Virgin and the saints, and wishes to make new saints of all of us, why get worked up over that which we cannot affect?

Secrets: the hallmark of gnosticism. All this bluster about secrets dilutes the message of the Gospel and sullies the devotion inspired by the events at Fatima. We don’t need secrets.

Our Lady desires that “Russia be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart"in order to repair the schism in her Son’s Church from the beginning. I believe Sister Lucia.  She had a meeting w/ Fr. Robert Fox and told him all.  As you stated, this has become a money maker for people, and even though at first their hearts may have been in the right place, I think that the money has clouded their judgment.  I also agree with you in saying if they start trying to clarify, the worm can will be opened wide.  Christ’s peace.

There will never, ever be peace unless people repent of their sins. It doesn’t matter whether the Holy Father consecrates Russia. It can’t matter, because peace is a consequence of communion with God, not a prerequisite for it.

In any case, Sr. Lucia said that Pope John Paul II did exactly what the Virgin asked.

The gift from heaven that I accept, is the Bread from Heaven, Our Lord Jesus Christ. All other gifts flow from Him.

Well, isn’t it obvious?  Of course the 3rd secret has been fulfilled.  Just look at our country and those of the world, our tremendous leaders, the peace and tranquility, the moral righteousness, respect for life, care for the downtrodden, and the purity of youth . . . Thanks for the info on Fr Fox Judy. I met him in Hanceville and along with my wife, drove him back back down the road to his house after Mass at the Temple. A great and gentle priest. He mentioned his work at Fatima but didn’t say anything about a secret and I didn’t think enough to ask him. Fatima was a blessing for the Church, think about all these clueless Protestants running around out there who have no concept of what happened there.

VATICAN CITY, JUN 26, 2000 (VIS) - Given below is the complete translation of the original Portuguese text of the third part of the secret of Fatima, revealed to the three shepherd children at Cova da Iria-Fatima on July 13, 1917, and committed to paper by Sr. Lucia on January 3, 1944:

“I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine.

“After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’. And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it’ a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father’. Shot at with guns and arrows? I have yet to find anyone to enlighten me what “arrows” mean.In this modern age surely arrows are no loner used but guns are indeed. So what would the 3rd secret mean when it said ... the man dressed in white ( possibly the Pope ) would be shot dead with guns and arrows ? Why arrows ?  The plot thickens !!!!

St. Thomas Aquinas teaches that, although it is not obligatory to believe in ‘private revelations’, it is not wise to ignore them since they are meant to be remedial. Examples of ignoring the remedy are LaSalette and Rwanda.
Famine and slaughter occured as predicted.
As for Fatima, the issue of the Collegial Consecration is complicated because the Pope received two requests for consecrations: (1) through Fatima, for the consecration of Russia, (2)through Blessed Alexandrina of Portugal, a victim soul for the consecration of the world to Our Lady.

As for the ‘conversion of Russia’, conversion can be immediate or gradual. Alphonse Ratisbonne entered a church anti-catholic and left requesting baptism. The Vatican proclaimed it a miraculous conversion. Then there is Venerable John Henry Newman who studied the Catholic faith for 20 years before he saw the light clearly.
The immediate conversion of Russia would be if all of the millions of Russians woke up one morning declaring that they all wanted to be Catholics. The gradual conversion would be a prolonged process of healing of a millenium of difficulties between the Churches.

As for the Collegial Consecration, it is true that Our Lady asked specifically for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart by the Pope united with all the bishops. In 1917 she said she would return to request that, which she did in 1929 - when Soviet Russia was becoming militarily aggressive. But at that time it was only Russia that was Communist. But fifty years later a great portion of the world was affected by its political philosophy of life either directly by government (the Soviet bloc) or indirectly, such as its influence on university faculties in most countrie. In 1984 it was no longer just Russia that needed the remedy but most of the world infected with it. Although Russia was not explicitly mentioned, it was included implicitly as every country, including the USA, was.

Why this long wait for the promised conversion? Could it not be that it is no longer just Russia that needs that total conversion, but the entire world? Let us recall that Jesus waited until his friend Lazarus died so that there would be a greater manifestation of his power, a greater remedy by his mercy.

If the Holy Father would like to end the Fatima speculation once and for all, all he has to do is order all the Bishops in the world to recite the prayer for the consecration of Russia to theImmaculate Heart of Mary in conjunction with the Pope at the same time and in a public way.  They could all recite the same prayer at the same time from their individual Cathedrals.  It would take more than 10 minutes.  A letter could go out, schedules re-arrainged so that the Bishops could take part, and then the prayer recited.  It’s so very simple.  The press could record it all and then the world could see what happens - including all those involved in the Fatima Crusader.  What’s so difficult about this?  It seems to be the only solution to end the controversy once and for all.

In the event of a war or complete depression (economic collapse, not the holding pattern we’re currently in) ordinance would be the first thing unavailable along with eggs, milk and everything else. Such an event is exactly what dozens of Catholic saints have predicted for Europe followed by a Russian invasion. So, where are arrows used? Right there. One city I would not want to be in at that time is Paris. Why will Paris be punished? A: Because it is the birthplace of communism, socialism, progressive-ism or whatever other label you want to attach to it. If you want to know more, read Trial, Tribulation, and Triumph, it’s all there AND it’s written by a faithful Catholic and has been endorsed by the Church. It is NOT written by some nutter loon and it only quotes Catholic saints. Read what the saints write, they won’t steer you wrong.

Let us not forget Our Blessed Mother’s role as the “bearer of our Salvation”.

Peter, another thing, google about the ammo shortages over the last year and a half. I don’t own a weapon so it doesn’t concern me other than to make me think that when some global economic or political crisis does happen, how much more scarce will it be then and this could easily be the reason people revert back to bows and arrows.

I read Socci’s book and I think he raises credible issues about the text of the third secret and whether all of it has been made public?  The book is well-documented.  Socci has done his homework.  It would make sense that if the third secret spoke about apostasy in the Church it would have been held back from publication for so many years. Would it have made the same sense to hold back with the text we have now?  I think there is more than meets the eye here.

JP—thank you for your comments. I still think it is odd both guns and arrows are used in the same sentence. The man dressed in white is shot at with BOTH guns and arrows. A lot of speculation going on because not many have appraised themselves of the full Message. Pope JPII said “it is addressed to EVERY human being.” It is not private as 70,000 people witnessed it and God created the miracle of the sun—obviously knowing there would be scepticism—so that people would believe. 

Simple as this—the prophesy warns of the annihilations of nations, possibly our own, and that those who survive would be enslaved under Communism.”  Sot its not a monemy making venture but a mission to warn people of what awaits them - and give them a chance.

If you call saving lives and souls a money making venture - shame on you.

And by the way, do your homework - Sister Lucy DID NOT SAY the consecration has been done. To the contrary, she repeatedly advised it had not.  Pope John PaulII, when he consecrated the WORLD… added an acknowledgement that even after that ... Our Lady is still awaiting etc.

I agree totally with your comments Monique. Obviously Satan knows his time is near its end and is going ‘hell for leather’( excuse the pun) to prevent the Consecration being done. Are we, the people, doing enough? Are we saying the Rosary ever day per Our Lady’s request?

They did not; it has been released.  Sr. Lucia said it; the Holy See said it, and history says it was due to Blessed Mary’s Immaculate Heart:

The presidents of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus met in Belovezh Forest, near Brest, Belarus, on 8 December[Feast of the Immaculate Conception],  declaring the end of the Soviet Union in the Belavezha Accords, and founding the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Gorbachev resigned on 25 December and the Soviet hammer and sickle flag was lowered that day from the Kremlin for the last time.

Yes the Pope lied.  When he said in the official commentary (first paragraph) that the secret was “published here in its entirety” then knowingly holding any part back was a lie.  Statements about the Third Secret made by Cardinal Ratzinger (the now Pope Benedict XVI) don’t in any way tally with what was released in June 2000) so either he lied in 1984 or he lied in June 2000.  You can’t have it both ways.

Didn’t the Pope succeed in performing the consecration of Russia in 1984?  A: No. As Sister Lucy herself declared in a September 1985 interview, the attempted consecration of March 25, 1984, did not satisfy Our Lady’s requests because “there was no participation of the bishops and there was no mention of Russia.” In consecrating the world in general on that date without mentioning Russia, the Holy Father himself acknowledged in the presence of tens of thousands of witnesses, both during and after the ceremony, that the people of Russia were still “awaiting our consecration and confiding.” The next day these statements were reported in the Pope’s own newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano, and the Italian Bishops’ publication, Avvenire.
