At NCRegister.com ...

Last week, I told you that our website, NCRegister.com, has a new look. It has new features, too.

• Daily blog. On the left side of the home page, under the green bar, contributing editor Tom McFeely is finding and sharing five news stories every day. The blog offers the Catholic take on the news of the day.

• Print edition. On the right side of the home page, under the orange bar, we offer what we always have: all the stories of our print edition in electronic form, free to subscribers. (For a limited time, we're offering our stories free to all.)

• Hot topics. We also remind you of important stories we have covered that are relevant to current events. Find our election-related editorials there.

• Slide show. We also have a new way to highlight our features and show you what we're covering in the latest issue of the paper.
