Edward Pentin on the Archbishop Vigano Testimony (09/01/2018)

The clergy sex abuse scandal took a very dramatic turn this week with the release of the 11-page “Testimony” of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganó, former apostolic nuncio – papal ambassador – of the Holy See to the United States accusing Pope Francis of covering-up for Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and calling for his resignation. Archbishop Viganó also made significant accusations against a host of Vatican officials and other prelates, including Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington, D.C. This week on Register Radio we talk to Register’s Rome correspondent Edward Pentin, and JD Flynn, editor in chief of CNA for the latest.
