Chesterton Academy of Rochester (NY)

Chesterton Academy of Rochester, N.Y., a dynamic, growing secondary school in the Catholic liberal arts tradition, seeks an equally dynamic leader to fill the newly created position of Headmaster.

The role of the Headmaster is to lead the educational and spiritual development of our high school students and the professional performance of our faculty. The Chesterton Academy Headmaster will report to the school’s Board of Governors, and partners with the headmaster of St. John Bosco Schools (our "sister" elementary/middle school) to implement the schools’ vision, philosophy and mission.

The ideal candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic, possesses a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in education or a related field, and is committed to Catholic secondary education.

nterested applicants should email a resume, cover letter, and list of three references to the Headmaster of St. John Bosco Schools, Mrs. Laurie Collins, at [email protected] no later than April 30, 2021.

All candidate materials will be submitted to our Headmaster Search Committee, which is comprised of the St. John Bosco Schools Headmaster, two members of the Board of Governors, and two parents from the school. A member of the Search Committee will follow-up with qualified candidates to schedule a preliminary interview.
