Executive Director
Mercy Focus on Haiti
The Executive Director is energized to lead Mercy Focus on Haiti (MFOH) toward its vision to grow into “a diverse, intercultural, and international ministry that embraces empowerment and collaboration with our Haitian partners to improve conditions for the people and the planet”.
Passionate for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and witnessing to the legacy of Catherine McAuley, MFOH members are led to service and solidarity with persons who are materially poor, especially those living in Haiti. MFOH collaborates with the people of Haiti to help meet their unmet needs, and with other like-minded organizations to achieve shared goals that will benefit the people of Haiti. Current programs range from agronomy and water harvesting to livelihood programs for women, housing for the elderly, and immersion and educational experiences.
The Executive Director promotes and enhances the mission of MFOH with guidance provided by the MFOH Governing Council and Executive Committee. The Executive Director is appointed by the Mercy Ministry Corporation and reports operationally to the Chair of the MFOH Governing Council.
