Oversees the EMD staff for 8 major areas: Discipleship Formation, Engagement, Family Ministry, Evangelical Charity, Sacred Worship, Cultural Ministries, Campus Ministry and Deaf Ministry. Provides strategic direction and leadership for the efforts from the Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD) Central Services to our parishes, families and individuals to enact the missionary conversion called for by Synod ’16 and Archbishop Vigneron’s 2017 pastoral letter Unleash the Gospel. Leads a diverse team of individuals to bring about this missionary conversion throughout the AOD. This position reports to the Moderator of the Curia / Vicar General of the Archdiocese and serves on the AOD Central Services Cabinet. 

Education and Experience Requirements

•Master’s degree in Theology, Catechetics and/or Religious Education or related field required. PhD preferred.

•Minimum 15 years’ experience in a parish and arch/diocesan ministry required.

•Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience required.
