Why STS

The graduate school offers a Master of Arts in Theology that includes a robust program for diaconate formation and studies. An Institute for Christian Formation is a two-year spiritual formation program offering a completion credential for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. In addition, catechetical classes in English and Spanish run for four weeks at a time on a scheduled rotation that is offered online. The School of Theological Studies provides a summer program for many religious sisters seeking a Master of Arts in Theology.

Mandatum: Theology professors (undergraduate and graduate) take the “Oath of Fidelity” and make the “Profession of Faith” publicly before the archbishop and receive the mandatum.
