Her Tone Was Not the Problem

So imagine this: You're caught on video munching on a salad and slurping red wine while chortling about how you crush babies in order to maximize profit and you apologize for...YOUR TONE?

What? Is there an appropriate tone that makes discussing tearing humans apart limb from limb for profit acceptable?

Planned Parenthood's president Cecile Richard offered an apology for what the abortion giant's top doctor said in the now infamous video. "Our top priority is the compassionate care that we provide. In the video, one of our staff members speaks in a way that does not reflect that compassion. This is unacceptable, and I personally apologize for the staff member's tone and statements," said Richards.

Well, now thanks to Cecile Richards we know that a tone of casual indifference while speaking of violence to the unborn is definitely not the answer. The only "tone" that might work is maybe weeping and gnashing of teeth while begging for forgiveness from God but I don't think that's what Richards meant, do you?

I understand that the politicians have to focus on the possible illegalities evident in the video if they want to eventually remove taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood (a noble cause.) But this is not primarily a politics problems. This is a humanity problem. This video shouldn't just horrify one party. The staggering indifference to violence to human beings should horrify us all.

It is not only horrific because it shows that Planned Parenthood may very well be involved in illegal activity such as performing partial birth abortions and selling body parts for profit but because it was chilling to watch this doctor speak of human organs being on the "menu." This is what you get when you take away the slogans about "choice" and "the war on women." This woman wasn't talking about caring for women. She was blatantly talking about birthing children feet first, cutting their heads off, and selling parts for profit. It was absolutely Mengelian if Josef Mengele was a ruthless capitalist.

There's no tone problem here. This woman was speaking the truth. The scandal here is one person got caught speaking the truth. What we've been hearing from the pro-abortion community (which includes the media) is propaganda. We have finally heard the truth. And sometimes truth can slap us awake. This is the culture we created when we decided humanity was a durable good that could be broken down, monetized, and profited from. I pray that this video shocks us all awake.
