New USCCB statement on religious liberty: 'What is at stake is whether America will continue to have a free ... society — or whether the state alone will determine who gets to contribute to the common good.'
A new USCCB memo states that 'protecting a religious organization from being forced to act in conflict with its teaching by depriving it of the ability to act at all is no way to serve religious freedom.'
Bishops grant to help trafficking victims stated that subcontractors could not provide or refer for abortion services or contraceptive materials for its clients.
