Little League Baseball World Series

ESPN, ABC "I thank heaven we have had baseball in this world," the New York Yankee slugger Babe Ruth, a Catholic, once said. The 11- and 12-year-olds in this annual international tournament would surely agree. At 11am, ESPN broadcasts the third-place contest; at 3pm, ABC televises the championship game.

ESPNEWS, NBC At noon on ESPNEWS, the Boston College Eagles host the Villanova Wildcats. At 3:30pm on NBC, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame host the Temple Owls.

At 3am and 6:30am Sundays, Frances Hogan examines St. Luke’s Gospel. At 3:30am Sundays and 11:30pm Saturdays, in Lectio Divina, Cardinal Thomas Collins of Toronto meditates on the parables of Jesus. At 4:30pm Sundays and 11pm Fridays, Father George Rutler explores The Parables of Christ. At 11pm Mondays and 4am Saturdays, Jesuit Father Bernard McGuckian gives the history of devotion to The Sacred Heart. At 6:30pm Saturdays, in Theology of the Table, Father Mark Mary and Daniel Rabourdin compare dinner-table traditions and the Mass.

EWTN In this six-part interview, Austrian Msgr. Leo Maasburg says that, during his seven years as Blessed Mother Teresa’s spiritual adviser, she always said, "My heart belongs entirely to Jesus," and she always sought to lead everyone to him. The final four episodes air next Monday-Thursday at the same times.
