Maybe If Egypt Promised U.S. Aid Won't Go Towards Killing People

The United States federal government is continuing to send over a billion dollars in aid to Egypt even as the government kills its own people. That aid reportedly includes jet fighters.
Some are concerned that U.S. money is going towards killing innocent civilians.
Even The Atlantic, a reliable presidential ally, ran a piece calling for the U.S. to cut off aid in light of the slaughter. "An U.S.-funded "ally" has carried out one of the largest massacres of protesters in a decade," wrote David Rohde. "It is time for Obama to cut off U.S. aid to Egypt."
But isn't there perhaps a middle way. Congress could act now to prevent U.S. taxpayer money from going towards the killing of innocents in Egypt. And leaders of the Egyptian government should nod their head publicly as a promise to keep the killing funds separated from other government funds.
The U.S. aid must be earmarked solely used for the betterment of society. Egypt must assure the U.S. that the money they use to purchase guns and ammo and swords for the slaughter of their own people comes from another source entirely. Even the jet fighters from the U.S. must be solely used only for the humanitarian missions that jet fighters can do.
So, once the law is passed by Congress, there should be no worries that we're funding death, right? If this sounds ridiculous to you, then why isn't it just as ridiculous that the federal government sends millions and millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood every year and states that none of the money goes toward abortion?
