World Youth Day 2013

EWTN At 8:30am, Pope Francis will celebrate World Youth Day’s closing Mass at a field in Rio de Janeiro’s Guaratiba neighborhood, announce the next WYD site and then lead the noon Angelus. (Re-airs at 11pm.) At 4pm, he will thank WYD’s many volunteers. At 6pm, he will say good-bye to Rio at an airport ceremony.

Knights of Columbus 131st Supreme Convention

EWTN Founded by Venerable Father Michael McGivney in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is a worldwide Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society of 1.8 million members in 14,000 councils. The convention’s opening Mass is at 10:30am Tuesday, the opening session at 2pm, and the states’ dinner at 8:30pm. The closing Mass is at 10:30am Wednesday, and the Mass for deceased members is at 9am Thursday.
