EWTN In Rio de Janeiro, Pope Francis will stress Jesus’ mandate, "Go, and make disciples of all nations!" At 2:30pm on Monday, he arrives. At 8am Wednesday, he flies to Aparecida for Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida. On Thursday, he will meet Rio’s mayor at 8:30am, then bless residents of the Varginha slum; later that afternoon, he will greet young people at the Copacabana beach at 4:30pm. On Friday, he will meet young inmates at 10am and lead the Stations of the Cross at Copacabana at 4:30pm. On Saturday, he will celebrate Mass at the cathedral at 7:30am and address young people at Guaratiba and preside at Eucharistic adoration at 6pm.
