Where Is My Awareness Concert?

The celebrities gathered backstage, musicians and actors and the like, preparing for this important event. The big event has one purpose, to raise awareness about an unthinkable tragedy and travesty.
The U.N. report has the grisly details. Each year, over 100,000 people are killed for no other reason than for who they are and what they believe. The families of a million or more destroyed as a result. Minorities living in fear in their own countries.
In addition to those killed, many hundreds of thousands more are displaced, fleeing countries their families have inhabited for generations or even millennia for fear that they can be dragged out their houses or places of worship and killed at any moment.
The body count from this ongoing tragedy is incomprehensible enough, but the collateral damage from this decimation truly boggles the mind.
And yet, the world hardly knows about it.
The celebrities are gathered backstage in common purpose. To make the world aware of the scope of this tragedy and inhuman injustice. In moments, they will use their various gifts and any celebrity they have earned to bring awareness. In a moment, they will take to the airwaves to entertain and inform. They have taken this time out of their demanding schedules, because they feel it is the least they can do.
When will this concert air?
Who are these concerned celebrities?
They don't exist.
So the whole thing is a fiction?
No. The tragedy and injustice are all too real. As just reported to the U.N, over 100,000 people are killed every year and many more displaced simply because of who they are and what they believe.
Sorry, that part is very real.
So where is the awareness concert? Where are the concerned celebrities? They are too busy making snarky tweets making fun of the victims to do anything about it.
No, there won't be any concerts of concerned celebrati. Why?
The name for this oppressed group is Christian.
