U.S. Gov't Only Respects Religions That Kill

The Obama administration is spending $70,000 in Pakistan to assure Muslims there that the U.S. Government respects the religious beliefs of all faiths. In the ad the President says "We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others."
Well, not all others of course. Just the religions of those that kill American citizens and diplomats.
While the U.S. government has launched a full scale campaign against the religious rights of Christians and in particular Catholics, they spend the tax dollars of those same Christians trying to convince murderous Muslims to not be so murderous.
But at the very same time that these tax-payer funded ads are running in Pakistan, another tax-payer funded project will be on display in New York.
“Piss Christ,” once branded as a “deplorable, despicable display of vulgarity,” will be displayed at the Edward Tyler Nahem Gallery in Manhattan on Thursday. The artwork features a “photograph of the crucifix submerged in the artist’s urine.”
The artwork debuted in 1989 and was funded through prize money provided by the National Endowment for the Arts. The art gallery hosting the retrospective salute to Andres Serrano is privately owned.
And has the Obama administration rushed to the microphones and issued communiques condemning this direct attack on Christ and his religion? Of course not. Christians don't riot and kill over insults so it is ok to denigrate their religion.
And remember, it is not only attacks on Christian symobolisms or on our Savior that go uncondemned and unremarked. When Muslims and Muslim governments ban, burn, and bomb Christian Churches, the Obama administration is equally silent.
During the Obama administration, their have been numerous attacks against Coptic Christians in the very same country they were so quick to issue the condemnation of the anti-Muslim video and they did nothing and barely even acknowledged that it happened.
No, the U.S. government does not condemn and reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, they are only so sensitive to those who kill.
