EWTN The new film epic For Greater Glory opens in America June 1. This special focuses on making the movie and explains Mexico’s Cristero War of 1926-1929. Crying out, “Viva Cristo Rey” (Long Live Christ the King), many Catholics took up arms to resist persecution.
