It doesn’t seem like nearly a year has passed since God’s providence brought EWTN and the Register together.

It was on the feast of the Immaculate Conception that EWTN expressed an interest in acquiring the Register, thereby fulfilling Mother Angelica’s dream to add a newspaper to the network family. The notion gained momentum and came to fruition shortly thereafter.

EWTN certainly has embraced the move, and so have our devoted readers — many of whom are our bishops.

At the recent general assembly of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in Baltimore, I was gratified to hear from many of our shepherds about how valuable a service the Register provides to them and the Church.

They mentioned some of our specific accomplishments and the direction of our content. Many told me how they read every issue that arrives at their residence.

Our mission at the Register is to bring you Catholic truth every day — to serve you, whether you’re a bishop, priest, religious or layman. And we’re ever grateful for your prayerful support to help us accomplish that mission.

God bless you!
