A former college basketball star who volunteers at a crisis pregnancy center and gives pro-life talks, she met Jim on a blind date and they married in 1997.

Phoenix Mars Mission: Ashes to Ice
PBS The Phoenix Mars Lander took off in August 2007 and is to land on May 25, three days after this program airs. A project of the University of Arizona, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and other entities, the 800-pound probe will have about 90 days to search for ice and organic compounds in the Red Planet’s northern polar region.
