FAMILYLAND TV California Catholic singer-songwriter Trevor Thompson combines pop, rock and alternative genres as he performs songs of faith, inspiration and hope.

The 4 Points

FAMILYLAND TV On Sundays at 6:30 a.m. and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., the priests of Catholic Familyland, in Ohio, point out the terrible impact of sin and explain how to fight it through grace, holiness and consecration to Jesus through Mary.


MONDAY, 9 p.m.

Six Days in June

PBS The Six-Day War between Arab states and Israel in June 1967 redrew the map of the Middle East and set off repercussions that continue today. Zvi Dor-Ner’s new two-hour documentary from WGBH in Boston, filmed on site in the Middle East, retells the story of the conflict by using newly declassified files, unpublished diaries, home movies, photos, dramatic re-creations and interviews with participants.

What Catholics Really Believe

EWTN In these five daily segments, Dr. Ray Guarendi, Dr. Bernie Richards and the late Father Kevin Fete explain Catholic truths about salvation, the Bible and the Eucharist.


TUESDAY, 9 p.m.

Frontline: The Tank Man

PBS This documentary investigates the possible identity and fate of the unknown lone hero of liberty who, the day after the Chinese communists’ massacre of freedom demonstrators in Tiananmen Square in Beijing on June 4, 1989, stepped in front of a column of communist tanks and halted it all by himself. Re-air from 2006.


WEDNESDAY, 10 p.m.

Has Science Discovered God?

EWTN In 2004, Professor Antony Flew, a longtime proponent of atheism, announced that modern science’s discoveries had persuaded him that an infinite Intelligence did create the universe. In this program, Flew and two experts on science and faith, John Haldane of Scotland and Gerald Schroeder of Israel, dissect Flew’s earlier atheism and discuss God, creation and the origins of life. Re-airs 5 a.m. Saturday.


FRIDAY, 12 noon
