Solemnity of Corpus Christi

EWTN Join EWTN in celebrating the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. At 3 a.m., The Eucharist — In Communion With Me; at 8 a.m., live, Solemn Mass and Procession with the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word (re-air at noon); and at 6 p.m., live, Benediction and Procession at Hanceville.

What Catholics Really Believe

EWTN In these five daily 30-minute segments in a 13-part series, Dr. Ray Guarendi and the late Father Kevin Fete help us to understand and be ready to explain Catholic doctrine on baptism, the moral life, confession and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Rhythm of My Soul: Kentucky Roots Music

PBS This documentary by Roger Sherman uses film and commentary to present the beautiful Gospel, country, bluegrass and mountain music of rural Kentucky. Hear performances by artists such as Bill Monroe, Loretta Lynn, Ricky Skaggs, the Howard Family, Leo Sexton and Josh and Stacie Carriere. TV-G.

Flight 93

HISTORY CHANNEL This A&E-made fact-based movie, written by Nevin Schreiner and directed by Peter Markle, dramatizes the story of the doomed passengers and crew of United Flight 93 on Sept. 11, 2001, who foiled hijackers’ terrorist plans by fighting back. Jeffrey Nordling stars as passenger leader Tom Burnett, a Catholic, and Kendall Cross plays Tom’s wife Deena, also a Catholic. Advisory: TV-PG.
