PBS This half-hour documentary joins veterans of Air Group 16, who served on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Lexington in World War II, as they hold their final reunion and attend the dedication of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., in May 2004. Archival film and interviews augment the story as these former pilots, gunners and radio men recount battles and salute their fallen comrades. A re-air from 2007.

A Red Carpet Parade of all-time great Yankee and other ballplayers and of this year’s American League and National League All-Star teams will precede the game, as will a salute to Hall of Fame players and historic Yankee Stadium itself.
