DISCOVERY CHANNEL At 7 p.m., “Ice Worlds” visits polar areas and mountaintops to chart weather, observe animals and capture scenic views. At 8 p.m., “Pole to Pole” surveys continents, weather and Earth’s amazing variety of animals.

EWTN In each daily episode, media expert Teresa Tomeo explores the relationship between Catholicism and the communications media by studying the media’s saturation of culture, violent imagery in the media, Catholic teaching about correct use of the media, how Catholics can evangelize through media, and how to counter negative media influences and use media to foster good.
