Pope Francis Visits Turkey

EWTN The Holy Father will fly to Ankara on Friday and meet with Turkish President Recep Erdogan and other officials. In Istanbul on Saturday, he will visit the Hagia Sophia Museum, tour the Blue Mosque, celebrate Mass in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, join in ecumenical prayer at the patriarchal Church of St. George and confer with Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople. On Sunday, the feast of St. Andrew, patron of the Orthodox world, the Pope will say a private Mass, pray the Divine Liturgy at the patriarchal Church of St. George and sign a joint declaration with Bartholomew I.
