EWTN This EWTN original show tells about the Blessed Virgin’s visit to Adele Brise in Champion, Wis., in 1859, and today’s Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help.

The Big Jig

TLC This new special follows five American girls, ages 10-12, as they prepare for and take part in the 2012 World Irish Dance Championships in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The children practice for hundreds of hours and suffer injuries and nerves, but they end up performing well.

El Camino: The Way of St. James

EWTN American young men make the pilgrimage to the Shrine of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and discuss their vocational discernment.

Cave of Forgotten Dreams

HISTORY In this new two-hour special, filmmaker Werner Herzog explores the nearly inaccessible Chauvet Cave in southern France, where 30,000 years ago Aurignacian artists painted horses, cattle, reindeer, bears, bison, owls, lions, panthers and rhinos on the cave walls.

Vice-Presidential Debate

MAJOR NETWORKS Martha Raddatz of ABC News will moderate this 90-minute exchange between Vice President Joe Biden and Republican challenger Paul Ryan on both domestic and foreign policy.

Mass and Pilgrimage for Life and Liberty

EWTN Baltimore Archbishop William Lori will celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington. Exposition, the Rosary, a Eucharistic procession and Benediction will follow. Re-airing at midnight.
