Pope Francis will address young people in Daejeon at the sixth annual Asian Youth Day. He will meet with South Korean President Park Geun-Hye, receive relatives of the victims of this past April’s Sewol ferry disaster and visit a Catholic charismatic shelter for poor and homeless people. On Aug. 15, he will celebrate Mass for the feast of the Assumption. On Aug. 16, he will celebrate a beatification Mass for 124 Korean martyrs.
