TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES George Stevens directed this reverent 1965 epic of the life of Christ, based on a 1949 book of the same name by Catholic convert Fulton Oursler (1893-1952). Max von Sydow plays Jesus, Dorothy McGuire is Mary, Robert Loggia is St. Joseph, and Charlton Heston is St. John the Baptist.

Divine Mercy Sunday
