Feast of St. Joseph

EWTN “Solace of the Wretched, Hope of the Sick, Patron of the Dying, Terror of Demons, Protector of Holy Church” are some of the titles the Litany of St. Joseph gives to the earthly father of Jesus and head of the Holy Family. At 8am, the MFVA Friars will celebrate a Solemn Mass of St. Joseph, Husband of the Virgin Mary, with re-airings at noon, 6:30pm and midnight. At 1:30pm, Father Benedict Groeschel offers Meditations on St. Joseph.

Papal Visit to Mexico

EWTN Pope Benedict XVI is scheduled to arrive at the airport in Leon, Guanajuato, central Mexico, at 4:30am Friday. At 8pm Saturday, the Holy Father will visit with Mexican President Felipe Calderon. At 8:45pm, Pope Benedict will greet children in Leon’s Peace Square and deliver remarks. Check EWTN.com for schedule updates.
