EWTN The date of the conclave to elect the new pope was not set as of our deadline, but, naturally, the conclave and subsequent coverage of the new pope will alter EWTN’s program schedule this month, so this column’s selection of EWTN shows is provisional. Check EWTN.com for updates.

EWTN This documentary takes us along on what is sometimes called "Europe’s toughest pilgrimage," the ancient three-day regimen of fasting, going barefoot and praying, including an all-night vigil, on Station Island in Lough Erne, County Donegal, Ireland. The small island is home to St. Patrick’s Purgatory, a holy spot that penitents have visited since the days of St. Patrick and his disciple St. Davog nearly 1,600 years ago.
