PBS Nineteen World War II veterans of the U.S. Army’s 1,100-man 23rd Headquarters Special Troops unit recount the ingenious ways they deceived the German military about U.S. troop strength and intentions in Europe. Fake planes, tanks, trucks, cannons and structures, plus sound effects of convoys and armored and infantry units, confused the enemy and helped the Army advance to victory. A re-air from 2013.
