Researchers have uncovered a link between pleasant odors and cheerful dreams. The BBC reports that, after German scientists wafted the scent of roses under the noses of sleeping test subjects, the volunteers told of experiencing positive emotions in their slumbers. October is the month of the Rosary, so now might be a good time to place a dozen American Beauties (or the thorn-stemmed variety of your choice) alongside a Marian statue in your bedroom. Sweet dreams!
