As marriage goes, so goes the vitality of the Church. That’s according to a new study by Princeton University sociology professor Robert Wuthnow, who found a connection between falling church attendance and increasing numbers of young adults delaying, or just saying No to, a walk down the aisle. The study revealed that men are 57% less likely to regularly attend church if they are not married, while single women are 41% less likely to attend church than their married counterparts.
