This issue of the Register would serve as a good introduction to the mission of our publication.
First, secular news from a Catholic perspective. We cover a topic I haven’t seen anywhere else: the White House’s neglect of religious freedom issues. And the rise in home schooling has been covered elsewhere, but not like Tim Drake does it in this issue. We also bring needed perspective on the question of human egg donation.
Second, “Catholic” news. We inform you about the “franchising” of a model of crisis-pregnancy centers in a story that I hope will inspire even more new centers. We also explain the exciting new developments at Southern Catholic College in Georgia.
Last, cultural news. On page one, you’ll read about a new Jim Caviezel movie from the producer of The Passion. In our Culture of Life section, we talk about the return of courtship.
Enjoy it! God bless.
