According to a new poll by the National Sleep Foundation, 16% of Americans say their sleep has been disturbed at least a few nights a week over the past month because of personal financial concerns. Another 15% cite worries about the overall economy, and 10% express concerns about employment. Perhaps they’d do less tossing and turning if, prior to turning in each night, they prayed the Fourth Psalm: “Many say, ‘May we see better times! Lord, show us the light of your face!’ But you have given my heart more joy than they have when grain and wine abound. In peace I shall both lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me secure.”
