Brush for Baby
The world would have fewer unhealthy — and, thus, “unwanted” — babies if only more mothers-to-be would simply brush, floss and take good care of their teeth. A new study shows that bacteria in the mouth of the mother could influence the baby’s birth weight and delivery date. That’s important because babies born prematurely and/or at a low birth weight are more vulnerable to health problems.
