More than
a third of U.S.
adults have traveled to a family reunion in the past three years, according to
a Travel Industry Association of America survey. The trade group says that
translates into nearly 72 million adults attending a formal family reunion
during that period. Tom Ninkovich, author of Family Reunion Handbook, says about
200,000 families plan reunions each year with an average of 40 people in
attendance at each.
