Most Americans believe Hollywood is out of touch with their values — at best. At worst, they say, the entertainment industry is openly hostile to traditional Judeo-Christian morality. That’s according to a poll commissioned by the Anti-Defamation League, a group that fights anti-Semitism, as reported in The Hollywood Reporter. Some 61% of 1,000 adults from around the country told the pollsters that religious values in America are “under attack,” and 59% agreed that “the people who run the TV networks and the major movie studios do not share the religious and moral values of most Americans.” A surprising 43% went so far as to say that Hollywood and the national media are waging an organized campaign to weaken the influence of religious values in this country.
