PBS Check your local listings for these specials and more. In America's Home Cooking: Easy Recipes for Thrifty Cooking, Chris Fennimore uses "Grandma's kitchen wisdom" to prepare budget-friendly meals. In Josh Groban: An Evening in New York City, the singer performs "Alla Luce del Sole," "You Are Loved (Don"t Give Up)," and other hits. In The Big Band Years, Peter Marshall observes the 65th anniversary of D-Day (June 6, 1944) by showing performances of the "swing" bands and singers our troops loved. In Magic Moments: The Best of '50s Pop, Pat Boone and Phyllis McGuire show hits by Perry Como, Patti Page, and many more.

CATHOLICTV Pope Benedict XVI was to hold his usual St. Peter's Square audience May 27 and is set to hold one every week in June and on July 1 and 8.

Exaltation

EWTN Founded in 1939 by Father Joseph Emrich as the Holy Name Band and Choral Club, the Louisville (Ky.) Chorus has a repertoire of choral masterworks that includes hymns, pops, kids-oriented, Broadway and bluegrass. This concert takes place in historic St. Martin of Tours Church in Louisville.

Antiques Roadshow

PBS Among the valuables appraised in this episode are 20th-century pottery pieces, samurai swords brought to America in 1898, 19th-century journals from a North Dakota country store and a Bennington pottery lion. Re-airs
