his general audience on April 22, Pope Benedict XVI resumed his series of
catecheses on the great medieval writers of the Church both from the East and
the West.
He focused his attention on
Ambrose Autpert, a little-known Benedictine monk who lived in the eighth
century, an era of great turbulence.
