An Urgent Message from Fr. Owen Kearns LC, Publisher
What we deliver with our journalism, we cannot deliver without your generosity.
The National Catholic Register needs your help. Revenue from subscriptions and advertising can't keep up with the rising cost of payroll, printing, postage and other expenses. We must rely on donations to make up the difference. To continue our hard-hitting investigative reporting, we need your financial support. Please donate today.

Many readers will have already discovered our changes to our website.
NCRegister.com
has been steadily improving over the past few years. First, we offered full
access to all the newspaper’s news, features and commentary. Then we added a
searchable archive of the Register’s original stories published in the 2000s.
We also offered faith-formation resources.
We
were still, however, a weekly publication on the Web, which is an “hourly”
medium. Even changing our online “Media Watch” column wasn’t enough.
So
now we have updated the website again to include a daily blog, reporting news
and putting it in a Catholic context. Have a look — and tell us what you think.
