An Urgent Message from Fr. Owen Kearns LC, Publisher
What we deliver with our journalism, we cannot deliver without your generosity.
The National Catholic Register needs your help. Revenue from subscriptions and advertising can't keep up with the rising cost of payroll, printing, postage and other expenses. We must rely on donations to make up the difference. To continue our hard-hitting investigative reporting, we need your financial support. Please donate today.

Don’t miss
out on the Jubilee Year of St. Paul. The last apostle has always been a
favorite of mine. Paul met Christ personally, and then went to great lengths to
bring his Good News to the world. He had a tireless spirit, and felt that
interior drive to bring the word of God everywhere.
Go to Vatican.va to find the
excellent materials the Church has offered to get to know this passionate lover
of Christ better. Don’t fall into the common trap of thinking: “He was
exceptional, and I’m not, so …”
He was an example of what every
Christian should become: a sinner who let himself be transformed by the power
of the resurrection into an ardent apostle, convinced for life of the cause of
Christ.
