Abstinence Funding Fight Continues

WASHINGTON — Community-based abstinence programs are once
again under attack, as members of Congress are weighing whether to continue
supporting existing programs with federal funds.
Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., chairman of the House oversight
committee, held a hearing April 23, questioning the results of the programs.
