Planned Parenthood Files on YouTube

There is a shocking series of videos and related articles soaring around cyberspace right now.

They stem from a jaw-dropping research project displayed on the website, YouTube, by pro-life students at UCLA, led by a student named Lila Rose.

The students caught on tape representatives of Planned Parenthood — from branches around the country — accepting donations from callers masking as racists. The callers explained that they wanted to make donations to advance the abortion of unborn minorities, particularly black babies.

Planned Parenthood did not hesitate to take their money. In one case, a Planned Parenthood rep in Idaho exclaimed that she was “excited” by the donor’s explicitly stated desire to give the organization money to help him reduce the black population. In another, a Planned Parenthood worker in Ohio did not object to a donor who observed, “There’s definitely way too many black people in [the state].”

Here’s a transcript of one of the exchanges:

Caller: I really faced trouble with affirmative action, and I don’t want my kids to be disadvantaged against black kids.

Planned Parenthood rep: Yes, absolutely.

Caller: And we don’t, you know, we just think the less black kids out there the better.

Planned Parenthood rep: Understandable (laughs), understandable ...

One of the Planned Parenthood workers on the donation line informs the caller that the organization “will accept the money for whatever reason.” The implications are obvious: By extension, a member of the KKK looking to eliminate black children before they are born could direct money to Planned Parenthood to help him achieve his objective.

The video needs to be watched to be fully appreciated.

Once you see the exchanges for yourself, you will be outraged. You may be even angrier as you catch the non-reaction by the dominant media, which, as usual, will blacklist the video and refuse to grant it any news coverage.

There is no subject where the mainstream press is as biased as the abortion issue. You will not find the likes of CNN or “CBS Evening News” or “60 Minutes” doing a feature on how women have been traumatized by their abortion experiences; on how the abortion industry is driven by profits rather than the preservation of women’s “rights,” and is truly more “pro-abortion” than “pro-choice;” on how abortion is first and foremost an elective means of birth control; on how abortion has disproportionately annihilated unborn African-American children; and on and on.

You will not see “NBC Nightly News” or The New York Times covering this story unless their purpose is to try to discredit it.

None of that is surprising. And here is something else that is predictable:

A colleague of mine who forwarded this video postulated whether the media would demand an apology or disassociation from Planned Parenthood by the two Democratic Party presidential candidates — Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. His thought was prompted by two things:

For one, Republican presidential candidate John McCain was called upon by a fuming CNN reporter to apologize for the fact that a talk-show host at McCain’s Cincinnati rally had used Barack Obama’s middle name — “Hussein.”

McCain immediately apologized; if he had not, the press would have hounded him for weeks.

Second, and more to the point, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are not merely Planned Parenthood supporters — and vice versa — but fanatical Planned Parenthood supporters. They are both abortion extremists.

Their loyalty to Planned Parenthood is so tight as to be an almost sacred bond. Quite the contrary, John McCain has surely never even listened to the Cincinnati guy’s talk-show.

So, will an apology or disassociation by Clinton and Obama be demanded by an offended press? Of course, not. Why would the press even contemplate such a demand?

Consider, after all, that the sentiment expressed in the material captured by the UCLA students is fully consistent with the racial eugenics advocated from the outset by Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger. Sanger all along championed limiting the birth of groups she deemed undesirable. Her aim was one of “refining” the population along preferred ethnic and racial lines.

One of many telling examples of this is “The Pope’s Position on Birth Control,” Sanger’s Jan. 27, 1932 article for The Nation in which she articulated her goal of “race improvement.”

Sanger said of her movement: “No philanthropic cause today offers the benefactor a finer opportunity for service which will at the same time relieve individual suffering, promote social welfare and tend to improve the race in America.”

This had been the goal of Sanger since the moment Planned Parenthood was a gleam in her eye. She began the organization for this purpose.

The UCLA students clearly knew their history going into their experiment; they figured that legitimate disciples of Sanger ought to embrace their request for racially motivated donations.

Planned Parenthood was crafted on that vision way back in the 1920s. Later, in 1973, came Roe v. Wade, followed by a revolving door of politicians crusading for legalized abortion — Planned Parenthood’s specialty — including just about every single major Democratic Party presidential nominee and candidate: Walter Mondale, Michael Dukakis, Jesse Jackson, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards — you name it.

This also applies to the political leadership and top names of the party, including Catholics like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi of California and Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass.

None of these individuals, in their “pro-choice” stridency, has ever been called upon by the editorial board of the Washington Post to apologize for the racist roots of Planned Parenthood.

Not only have these individuals supported Planned Parenthood in word and deed but they have also even fought to secure federal funding for the organization. Yes, it is that bad. Planned Parenthood — thanks to politicians like these — is sustained by literally millions of your tax dollars under Title X of the Public Service Health Act.

You can thank the media snow job for keeping that awful fact from a sleeping population, including from traditional (pro-life) Catholics who blindly vote for these same politicians over and over.

An organization built and maintained by hatred and deception continues to sail along with the aiding and abetting of these willing political accomplices.

As it does, abortion has snuffed out the lives of more than 40 million Americans since 1973 — an estimated 14 million of which have been African-American — making previous carnages like World War II (300,000 dead Americans) look mild by comparison. To support the legalization of that procedure means never needing to say you’re sorry. Do not expect any apologies this time either, nor demands.
