This year marks the 40th anniversary of Pope Paul VI's controversial encyclical Humanae Vitae. Well, it's controversial for those who have chosen to ignore it all these years (in the 'spirit' of Vatican II, of course, and the right to follow one's conscience, even when it takes the person in the opposite direction of the Church, but hey, why is that such a big problem?), and we are experiencing the results of that choice.

It is always interesting to see the media news cycle when it comes to Vatican reporting. The latest story on the Vatican's head astronomer about the possibility of aliens in God's creation. For them this fits their perfect template because they think it is such an amazing admission and one that is suppose to undermine faith in Jesus from their point of view.
