Ultrasound Trumps Culture of Death

No wonder Planned Parenthood fights those who use ultrasound and 4-D imaging in its abortion businesses.
Abby Johnson, who had worked at the Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas, for the past eight years and had directed the Bryan business for the last two, resigned Oct. 6 after watching an ultrasound of an abortion procedure, reported the television station KBTX Nov. 1.
“I just thought, ‘I can’t do this anymore,’ and it was just like a flash that hit me, and I thought, ‘That’s it,’” said Johnson.
KBTX reported Johnson saying the economic downturn forced the Planned Parenthood franchise to change its focus from pushing contraception to promoting abortion.
Johnson now supports the Coalition for Life, the pro-life group with a building down the street from Planned Parenthood. Coalition volunteers can regularly be seen praying on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood.
Johnson, an Episcopalian, has been meeting with the coalition’s executive director, Shawn Carney, and has prayed with volunteers outside Planned Parenthood. The world’s largest purveyor of abortion filed a temporary restraining order Oct. 30 against both Johnson and the Coalition for Life.
“We regret being forced to turn to the courts to protect the safety and confidentiality of our clients and staff; however, in this instance, it is absolutely necessary,” stated Rochelle Tafolla, a Planned Parenthood spokeswoman.
KBTX reported that the restraining order claims that Planned Parenthood would be irreparably harmed by the disclosure of certain information, but does not bar Johnson or Coalition for Life volunteers from the premises. A hearing about the order has been set for Nov. 10.
“I feel so pure in heart [since leaving],” Johnson said. “I don’t have this guilt; I don’t have this burden on me anymore. That’s how I know this conversion was a spiritual conversion.”
