The inventive continue to come up with new techie ways to spread the Gospel. You can get the Bible on a USB. You can have a verse a day sent to your iPhone or mobile phone. And now, there’s the “Twitter Bible,” which summarizes the over 31,000 verse Bible into nearly 4,000 short-form tweets.

Reuters reports, “An Israeli university student has opened a Twitter site, twitter.com/thekotel, where prayers can be sent for placement in the crevices of Jerusalem’s Western Wall, a Jewish holy site that faithful believe provides a direct line to the Almighty.”

The Archbishop of Utrecht in the Netherlands has launched a global Twitter campaign for new vocations.
The initiative was inaugurated by FuturePriests.com on Friday to coincide with the start of the Year for Priests, with a call for prayer posted on Twitter by Archbishop Willem Jacobus Eijk.
