Go here to read an Associated Press report about the new “final rules” for federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research, released a short time ago today by the National Institutes for Health.

The rules are a follow-up to the new federal stem-cell guidelines announced in March by President Barack Obama. Pro-lifers condemned the new rules for allowing funding for research that involves stem... READ MORE

Nancy Pelosi (CNS/Reuters)

On Friday, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dismissed critics of federal funding of life-killing embryonic stem-cell research with this argument:

“We’ve had a situation where it’s faith or science — take your pick,” Pelosi said about how the administration of George W. Bush allegedly dealt with the funding issue and other hot-button issues that involve making moral choices about scientific... READ MORE

According to news reports circulated today, Gore’s trendy investment fund is climbing aboard the bandwagon for ethical stem-cell research.

The former vice president is a partner with the venture-capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, which has just made a $20-million... READ MORE

As this video demonstrates, the former president is stunningly ignorant about the life-destroying realities of embryonic stem-cell research.

Go here for a superb dissection of Clinton’s confusion, posted by Register correspondent Steven D. Greydanus at JimmyAkin.org.

How could Clinton be so obtuse on this subject, you ask? As Greydanus writes, “This is a Rhodes scholar and a two-term... READ MORE

“How do you know when a baby’s life begins?”

That’s the worthy question that starts off this scene from the film “Come What May,” which is available on DVD beginning next week.

Produced by the Advent Film Group, a core team of 40 home-educated students from 16 different states worked on the movie, which examines the issue of life.

It’s a film our President should watch.

“Life... READ MORE

Adult Stem Cell Breakthrough

Wednesday, February 11, 2009 11:33 AM

This video is striking evidence of something that proponents of life-destroying embryonic stem cell research don’t like to admit.

Adult stem cell therapies, which destroy no human lives, are delivering spectacular results in treating a broad range of serious health problems.

Embryonic stem cell research, in contrast, has yielded almost nothing in terms of useful treatments.

The video... READ MORE
