Pro-life and traditional family values advocates are reveling in bright news this morning. Republican Chris Christie ousted Democrat pro-abortion Gov. Jon Corzine in New Jersey, and Republican Bob McDonnell won Virginia’s gubernatorial race over pro-abortion candidate Creigh Deeds.

The court battle over the result of last year’s U.S. Senate race in Minnesota continues, with no immediate conclusion in sight.
Incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman narrowly edged out Democratic candidate Al Franken, who has a history of ugly Catholic-baiting comments, in the initial ballot count. But Franken inched ahead following a recount.

The Daily Blog said this about Democratic politician Al Franken in a post on Election Day:

Father Frank Bwalya, a Zambian Catholic priest, was arrested yesterday for “airing what is being deemed as biased post election analysis,” AfricaNews reported today.
